Bob Pettit was a pure shooter whose form and grace reigned over opponents 'The Polished Pro', as he was known, led his St. Louis Hawks to an NBA championship in 1958 while putting him on path to be the first player in NBA history to score over 20,000 career points. This video contains rare video footage from his days at Baton Rouge High School where was cut from the team but continued to practice and eventually earned a scholarship to LSU. You'll also see game film from his NBA career in St. Louis.
