Everybody knows him now as the enthusiastic NBA commentator, but not too many years ago Bill Walton was outplaying opponents on the hardwood. He won the Naismaith NCAA Player of the Year trophy three consecutive years.Walton was picked first overall in the 1974 NBA Draft and led the Blazers to a championship in 1977. Though his NBA career was cut short due to injuries, his knowledge and passion still excites basketball fans everywhere.
